The Loss Foundation provides bereavement support for people who lose their loved ones to cancer. The charity provides support groups, social events, retreats and supportive information.

    Vision: we believe that everyone who has lost a loved one to cancer should be able to talk freely and openly about their experiences of grief.

    Mission: in acknowledging the scale and impact of loss to cancer, we aim to encourage discussion, provide information and raise awareness through our bereavement support services across the UK.

  • Aims

    The Loss Foundation aims to:

    • To relieve the suffering of persons resident in the UK experiencing bereavement by cancer, by providing support for such persons.
    • To relieve the suffering of persons resident in the UK experiencing bereavement by cancer, by the provision of self-help support groups.
    • To raise awareness of the importance of bereavement support and the effects and consequences of lack of support.
    • To carry out research into the experience of bereavement to better inform our supportive services.
