  • Mission statement

One By One’s passion is to reach the world’s poorest through feeding programmes, clothing outreaches and work with orphans, widows and prostitutes. One By One has worked across Africa and Asia, but does most of its current work in Kenya, whilst also supporting an education programme in Sri Lanka. We believe that every person has the right to an excellent education and the help they need to live their life with dignity and a hope for the future.

  • Aims

    One By One aims to:

    • Create the ability for every child in the village of Bumala B to have access to food, education and, where necessary, a home where they can grow-up safely and move from a life of poverty.
    • Build two new homes for the children who become too old to live in the children's home so they can continue their education and achieve their dreams within employment.
    • Through the Dignity Project educate young girls to understand their bodies and respect them whilst also meeting their practical monthly needs for sanitation items thus allowing them to stay in school.
