    COSMIC supports the children's intensive care unit at St Mary’s Hospital in London by enabling our dedicated team to treat hundreds of critically ill children every year, & supporting their families.

    To support these children and families during the hardest of times, we help by purchasing vital, state-of-the-art medical equipment, providing parent accommodation so that families can be close to their child, supporting training for medical professionals, and funding internationally significant research into life-threatening childhood diseases.

  • Aims

    Children Of St Mary's Intensive Care aims to:

    • Purchase state-of-the-art medical equipment for the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at St Mary's Hospital that the NHS are unable to fund to ensure the very best level of care is provided.
    • Provide vital emotional & practical support to families during one of the worst times by funding group support & counselling sessions & paying for accommodation so parents can be close to their child.
    • Fund a programme of groundbreaking research into life-threatening childhood diseases that has a global impact on new treatments & child health.
    • Pay for training and education for health professionals involved in paediatric intensive care which is a super speciality area.
