The London Mozart Players Trust

The London Mozart Players Trust supports the work of the London Mozart Players (LMP), one of Europe's finest chamber orchestras.

In addition to concert performances and recordings, and pioneering classical music of the 17th to 21st centuries, the LMP carries out a wide range of community and educational work, inspiring young people in education, and enriching the lives of those whose ability to attend performances is limited physically or geographically.

Founded 1984

  • Mission statement

The vision for the LMP is to be the most accessible, exciting and inspiring professional orchestra in the UK. We are dedicated to harnessing the passion and talent of our musicians and associate artists, so that our audiences can experience and delight in the joy of world-class live performance on all levels.

Our goals are to work alongside the communities we enter, using music to bring them together and give meaning to the world around us, to enhance well-being, to build inspiring partnerships with longevity and promise, and to stimulate creativity and aspiration in future generations with our commitment to excellent music making.

Grounding these goals is the desire to ensure that the fantastic music we perform reaches, and is enjoyed, by as wide an audience as possible, regardless of perceived barriers.
