A Change Of Scene For Children

We provide a sanctuary for animals and children. The animals are given a forever home. The children are given time, where they can talk, play and grow in the fresh air.

Founded 2011

  • Mission statement

A Change of Scene for Children provides a sanctuary for both children and animals, educational and leisure facilities for young people. Aged 6 – 18 years old who can be referred to us by a variety of people such as schools, Child Services, personal referral or family members.

The Charity’s purpose is to help the young people and animals gain strength from each other, the natural environment.
We provide a sanctuary where they feel safe, animals have a home while at the same time giving young people the opportunity to achieve a sense of purpose, respect & self-esteem.

Change of Scene for Children aims to make a significant difference for a few…though, of course, as the years pass, those few are becoming many! The focus is on quality of outcome, not quantity of output.

  • Aims

A Change Of Scene For Children aims to:

    • To provide a place in the fresh air for children to have time and gain confidence. To learn without being taught about caring for animals, others, the environment and themselves
    • To provide a sanctuary for animals in need of a home either temporarily or permanent where they can be safe and cared for. Giving them a chance to help children understand their importance.
