MANNA, the Mozambique and Angola Anglican Association exists to support the diverse and inspiring work of the Anglican churches in Mozambique and Angola.
We are MANNA. We are intent on investing in the building up and growth of the local Anglican churches of Mozambique and Angola. By doing this, we enable these churches to support their communities as they face the enormous struggles of extreme poverty, injustice and care of the vulnerable and bringing about good long-term change through being the Good News. MANNA does this by raising funds and awareness of the inspiring and tireless work these 800+ congregations do in Lebombo, Niassa and Angola. MANNA supports a wide range of projects that the churches themselves initiate; schools, clinics, clergy training, women’s development, church building, HIV and community health work.
MANNA aims to:
- Supporting the Anglican churches in Mozambique and Angola
- Growing the capacity of the Anglican church communities of Mozambique and Angola
- Enabling the Anglican churches of Mozambique and Angola to react to the pressing needs of their communities in education, community development and health work.
