Kids Adventure provides fun and exciting non residential breaks for disadvantaged children through local projects run by student volunteers. The charity was established in 2013. We currently support well established projects at three universities in Bristol and Birmingham, and are looking to establish further projects at other Universities in the Midlands and London area.

Mission statement
'Working in partnership with affiliated Students’ Unions, Kids Adventure empowers and inspires young people to connect with their local community by providing desperately needed breaks with one-to-one attention for vulnerable children. These breaks offer an invaluable opportunity for the children to embrace the childhood they deserve, build self-esteem, and raise aspirations. Aims
Kids Adventure aims to:
- Ensure our local projects provide well managed, safe, inspiring and fun respite breaks for disadvantaged children
- Support the establishment of further projects at Universities across England to achieve a total of 15 projects by 2019, with Kids Adventure providing respite breaks to over 450 children by the end o
- Ensure that volunteers are well supported, receive the necessary training to carry out their roles, and benefit personally and professionally from working with young children
- Ensure Kids Adventure is well managed and led, and that it demonstrates good governance and compliance with charity and company law
- Increase our profile in order to generate the funds and support necessary for us to achieve our objectives
