Intergenerational Foundation

The Intergenerational Foundation (www. If. Org. Uk) is an independent non-party-political charity working to ensure that government policy does not ignore the interests of younger and future generations.

Founded 2011

  • Mission statement

For too long our children and grandchildren’s futures have been sacrificed to pay for the here and now. They have no say over how much debt we pass on, how much environmental damage we do, how little we spend today investing in their futures tomorrow.

The Intergenerational Foundation (IF) is working to change that. We want government, politicians and policy-makers of all parties to protect our children and grandchildren's futures better.

We conduct research into areas where we believe younger and future generations are at most risk of being ignored, and publish our findings to those in power, to make them think more about what we owe future generations – clean water, clean air, a healthy economy, good infrastructure, fair taxation and fewer debts.

Bringing about constitutional change takes time and money but with your help we can call all political parties to account and demand that they take action to protect our grandchildren's futures, better.

  • Aims

    Intergenerational Foundation aims to:

    • To better protect our children's and grandchildren's futures.
    • To change government policy in order to achieve better protection for our children's and grandchildren's futures.
    • To conduct robust research that provides irrefutable evidence that younger and future generations need better protection.
