The National Appropriate Adult Network Limited

Children and mentally vulnerable adults are at particular risk when detained or interviewed by police. Appropriate Adults (AAs) help achieve a fair justice system by safeguarding their welfare and rights and ensuring that they can participate effectively. AAs are often volunteers. NAAN is the national charity and membership body supporting the work of AAs.
