The National Justice Museum tells the fascinating story of justice through time and is home to the UK's largest collection relating to law, justice, crime and punishment.

A leader in public legal education, National Justice Museum Education delivers inspiring and stimulating education programmes in real courtrooms across Nottingham, London and the North West.

    Our mission is to help children, young people and adults alike to gain a better understanding of the law and justice system, so they can be inspired by their rights and responsibilities to play an active role in society.

  • Aims

    National Justice Museum aims to:

    • To engage children, young people and adults in an appreciation of the justice system both past and present
    • For children, young people and adults to become aware of their rights, responsibilities and consequences of their actions; empowering them to make a difference in their lives and informed decisions
    • Help to prevent crime and dispute and to prevent children, young people and adults from becoming perpetrators of crime
    • Increase social mobility in the legal profession, making it more diverse and representative of contemporary society
    • To achieve justice for all members of society, particularly focusing on children and young people
