Screen Changers designs innovative and strategic multi-media projects to prevent and relieve poverty and to advance human rights in the Middle East and North Africa region.
Our vision is for a world free of persecution and poverty, where human dignity and difference are respected, and all people are able to exercise their rights regardless of ability, gender, religion or ethnicity.
Our mission is to design and implement cutting-edge multi-media programming that transcends illiteracy, prejudice and the barriers created by conflict and population movements; especially for the empowerment of women and young people, minority groups and the displaced; and to collaborate with others to build synergies in our collective development efforts.
Screen Changers aims to:
- work for the benefit of women, young people and minority groups.
- engage with the issues surrounding religion in society - including freedom of belief, combating extremism and sectarianism, and faith-based approaches to development.
