We are a small, independent, local charity working in Hammersmith & Fulham and Kensington & Chelsea since 1917. We offer free, specialist preventive counselling and therapy services to vulnerable families with children who are at risk in order to promote their long-term emotional, psychological and social wellbeing. We work with families on low income and those facing issues such as abuse, bereavement, separation, school exclusion, mental health concerns, domestic violence, parenting difficultie

    Our purpose is to promote the wellbeing of children in need, working
    with them, their families and carers to help them achieve positive change

  • Aims

    West London Action for Children aims to:

    • Continue to support families through our counselling services and our parenting groups
    • Develop our counselling services provided in local schools, building on the success of recent programmes
    • Provide innovative services to address areas of particular need, for example young fathers, anger management, teenage pregnancy
    • Liaise with our clients and stakeholders in order to develop our services in line with local and national priorities
    • Continue to make improving the lives of children in the local community our priority
