Friends Of Lea School

We are an enthusiastic and capable PTA for our local primary school, and we're currently in the process of its regeneration. We're very passionate about our learning environment and our community.

Founded 1996

  • Mission statement

FOLS will support our school and community, developing and maintaining ties between our youngest and our senior citizens throughout our village.

We endeavour to raise funds for education, maintenance and energy efficiency, facilitating a warm, safe and dry environment for our children and the wider community to use throughout the year.

We believe that school is where community begins and, as a school, we encourage inter-generational integration.

  • Aims

Friends Of Lea School aims to:

    • To facilitate the continued excellence of our children's education by improving the learning environment.
    • To encourage and support the development of an integrated community and wipe out social isolation in our rural parish.
    • To assist with the considerable maintenance costs associated with our 160 year old building, restoring it to the warm, safe and dry establishment it is meant to be.
