Reach Volunteering's TrusteeWorks service helps charities become more sustainable and effective through the provision of volunteers with management, professional, technical and business skills

Founded 1979

  • Mission statement

Reach aims to be the leading service delivery organisation providing fulfilling skilled volunteering opportunities to enable voluntary and community organisations in the UK to improve their effectiveness.

Through our work, the lives of communities and individuals are improved, causes are strengthened and change is achieved. Every day we help hundreds of organisations through the intervention and support of one of the skilled volunteers we have helped place. Each year around 2,000 organisations engage us and more than 1,000 new placements are arranged.

Reach works with voluntary and community organisations of all sizes and across all sectors to help them achieve their goals. We attract individuals with business and professional skills to offer their time in fulfilling and rewarding volunteering roles. Our skilled volunteers help organisations respond to the significant challenges they face. From improving effectiveness to developing services, ensuring survival to a take-over or merger, improving governance to delivering strategic change, Reach helps organisations succeed.
Volunteers feel fulfilled, useful and stretched by working through Reach. Their work can be transformational for their organisations, but also for their own lives.
