The Round Table Trust

The Round Table Trust offers travel grants to young people (18-35) from Great Britain and Ireland who volunteer for community service projects overseas.

We welcome donations from individuals, clubs and businesses to enable us to contribute to the travel costs of these young people. Not only will this enable them to make a difference abroad, but they will then be inspired to make a difference when they return home.

Founded 1962

  • Mission statement

Connecting young people with their global community.

Our mission is to offer young volunteers assistance with their travel costs, and to share their experiences in order to inspire and encourage other young volunteers, and to introduce them to a lifetime of fun and friendship through community engagement with the global Round Table family of clubs.

To be considered for an award, each applicant has to satisfy certain key criteria, as set out on our website. Qualifying community service projects include construction, education, health and social care; but not ecological, environmental, expeditionary or business development activities.
