    To provide people with the highest standard of support and information based on the best current medical evidence and patient experiences, to work in partnership with medical professionals and patients in order to facilitate a better understanding of thyroid disorders, and to ensure all people have access to appropriate treatment and care.

  • Aims

    The British Thyroid Foundation aims to:

    • To promote the relief and treatment of people suffering from thyroid disorders, and to provide information and support for such people, their families, and the public generally.
    • To promote and support research (and to disseminate for the public benefit the results of any such research) into the causes, possible cures and the possible prevention of thyroid disorders.
