Yopey

'YOPEY' aims to give young people a fairer image in the media & society as a whole by 'revealing, recognising & rewarding' young unsung heroes & setting them up as positive role models

Founded 2005

  • Mission statement

The advancement of good citizenship through the recognition of young people as positive role models in society, by the establishment and administration of a programme of awards for young people - YOPEY.

By doing this YOPEY improves relations between the generations, including reducing the elderly's fear of teenagers.
We also give free citizenship lessons in schools
YOPEY is mainly supported by commercial companies as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility. But it can also promote their business. YOPEY can train staff volunteers to give presentations on good citizenship.
Together with all these people YOPEY is building a better society.
