    We believe that, provided older people are given the necessary information and advice, with support at difficult times, they will be able to remain independent. It is our mission that the elderly should be able to access this support/advice free of charge and to see organisations and people linked together so as to provide maximum benefit to the individual. We provide free practical help and advice to anyone over the age of 50. This includes financial and legal advice, specific help for dementia patients and carers, counselling, and a variety of social activities.

    Wigan And Leigh Pensioners Link Limited aims to:

    • To provide practical and emotional support to the over 50s
    • To provide relevant help and advice to the over 50s, signposting to and utilising other agencies where relevant
    • To provide opportunities for the over 50s to volunteer with those less active or able than themselves
    • To enable people over 50 to remain as independent as possible throughout any changing circumstances
    • We aim to offer our services free of charge wherever possible, so as to remain accessible to the most vulnerable members of elderly society
