Reignite Action For Development

Lifting rural African communities from poverty by using a multi sectorial and holistic approach that values local human and natural resources.

Founded 2012

  • Mission statement

    Our mission is to work closely with communities in developing integrated long-term strategies for the general improvement of their living conditions. This includes designing and implementing projects in areas like: Water & Sanitation, Hygiene & Public Health; Skills development & Education; Micro-finance; Food & Organic Agriculture; Environment, Biodiversity & Climate change adaptation; and Promotion of Cultural Heritage.

    We do this by working through local partner organisations in order to provide support at different levels:
    a) designing bespoke solutions using the local resources available;
    b) finding financial support by applying for international grants, providing micro-credit and develop projects with revolving funds;
    c) providing training and technical advice, as well as overall assistance with capacity building, planning, budgeting and institutional development.
    d) acting as a cooperation platform, through which we seek to partner with international organisations available to link up with local partners.

    All of our projects are designed following community input and the principles of sustainable development, the promotion of locally appropriate solutions and community ownership.
