Multi-Cultural Family Base

Multi-Cultural Family Base (MCFB) is an independent charity, based in Leith, which provides advice, support and therapeutic services to vulnerable children and their families. At least 60% of the families we help are from Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) communities. Such families often experience barriers to accessing the full benefit of mainstream activities. We provide comprehensive services to children and families from birth onwards and continually develop new projects in response to the needs of the community and the families we support. We are also a training agency for over 50 social work students who come to MCFB for their practice placements.
