Newman Students’ Union is a Students’ Union within the meaning of the Education Act 1994. The Union is devoted to the educational interests and welfare of its Members.
We are currently seeking two volunteers for the positions of External Trustee to join our team. You will be a member of the Board of Trustees which provides overall governance and strategic direction to the organisation, for the academic year 2014/15.

    The Advancement of the Education of Students at Newman University for the public benefit by:
    • Promoting the interests and welfare of Students at Newman University their course of study and representing, supporting and advising Students;
    • Being the recognised representative channel between Students and Newman University and any other external bodies; and
    • Providing social, cultural, sporting and recreational activities and forums for discussions and debate for the personal development of its Students.
