Circles UK

Circles UK seeks to reduce the reoffending of known sex-offenders by engaging them in Circles of Support and Accountability. Our 50 Circles of 4 or 5 trained volunteers each, drawn from their local communities, commit to meeting once a week with a sex-offender, providing them with a crucial degree of social support and contact, while maintaining close links and contact with the statutory services.
Any concerns or risks are reported back the appropriate authority, but the impact of this practical and social support for offenders whose very isolation can be a key factor towards reoffending, has been shown to have a significant effect in reducing reoffending rates. The objective is simply no more victims, and safer comumnities, through offence-free reintegration.
