MusicSpace provides a community based music therapy service for children, young people and adults with a wide range of disabilities or additional needs in Bristol and the surrounding area.

  • Mission statement

    We have a music therapy centre in Bristol. We also provide an outreach service around Bristol, Bath & North East Somerset, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire and Gloucestershire for people who are unable to travel to us.

    We work in a wide range of settings including Children's Centres, special and mainstream schools, day centres, residential homes for people with learning and/or physical disabilities, head injury and the elderly. We are currently working with around 400 people each week, using music in a specific way to develop communication skills, interaction and encourage self-expression.

    • To maintain the high quality of the therapy provided through regular monitoring and evaluation.
    • To be recognised as a leading provider of music therapy.
    • To develop and support the widest possible application of music therapy.
    • To deliver an excellent and comprehensive music therapy service, accessible to all who need it.
