Charity information

Swindon And Cricklade Railway

Wiltshire's only Heritage Railway. Vintage steam and diesel-hauled trains and DMUs restored and run on a railway built by volunteers.

Founded 1978

  • Mission statement

The railway's passenger line offers a round trip of over four miles. There are stations at Blunsdon and Hayes Knoll, and extensions towards Cricklade in the north and Swindon in the south.

Recently, a further extension has been opened to Taw Valley, where we plan to open a new station in 2014.

But to help us achieve our further goals we need help in other areas, such as the Spartan appeal.
