We provide a loving family home for children from extreme poverty & severely disadvantaged backgrounds. We focus on education & healing through surf so the children can enjoy a second chance at life.

  • Mission statement

    Mision Mexico provides refuge and hope to orphaned, abandoned, abused and disadvantaged children in Chiapas, southern Mexico, by giving them a home, family, love, education and opportunities for advancement in all areas of their lives.

  • Aims

    Mision Mexico (UK) aims to:

    • Ensure all the children have access to education including extended learning opportunities i.e. university, college and apprenticeships.
    • To provide a holistic approach to healing the children's emotional trauma including therapy through physical activity, primarily surfing.
    • To enable the children to gain practical work experience and new skills through the Mision Surf Work Training Program.
    • To provide the young adults to grow and reach their full potential by enrolling in the Youth Transition Program.
    • To teach the children values that will help with their development and healing (respect, honesty, trust)
