Bucks Search & Rescue

BSAR (Bucks Search and Rescue) provides a pool of volunteers, trained in emergency procedures and First Aid, ready to assist the full time emergency services in the event of a major incident.

  • Mission statement

    To work in association with local authorities and police forces in order to protect the lives and dignity of missing people and to provide them with assistance using highly trained volunteers from all walks of life. BSAR directs and coordinates lowland searches and resilience rescues across the county of Buckinghamshire. We generate support through education, information and fundraising.

  • Aims

    Bucks Search & Rescue aims to:

    • BSARs main role is to assist Thames Valley Police with missing person searches; we are ready to respond 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
    • Other services include; presentations and demonstrations to interested groups, First Aid, Communications, Marshalling, and other safety related cover for public events.
