East Surrey Domestic Abuse Services (ESDAS)

We provide specialist advocacy, advice, information and support to anyone affected by domestic abuse and violence within their homes or relationships living or working with East Surrey.

Founded 1993

  • Mission statement

Our aim is to relieve the need, hardship and distress of those who have suffered due to domestic abuse and violence. In particular we aim to achieve this goal through provision of direct services to survivors and their children. These services include provision of specialist advocacy, advice, information and support through Outreach Services, Children's Services, Group Work, Counselling, Volunteering and Family Work. We strive to empower those who have experienced domestic abuse and violence to take control of their lives and fulfil their potential. Maximising safety and wellbeing as well as long term recovery and hope are crucial to our service delivery. Our service users are fully involved in the development of our services by helping us to shape our services to effectively meet their needs and fill any gaps in provision.
