    Shaare Zedek UK raises vital funds to support the work of the Shaare Zedek Medical Centre in Jerusalem, one of Israel's busiest hospitals.

    The hospital combines Jewish values and traditions with world-class standards of medical excellence and treats every patient equally and without discrimination. Shaare Zedek receives no government funding for equipment, development or research and is therefore heavily dependent on donations and legacies to enable it to continue providing not only the highest standards of medical excellence, but also a caring environment in the best of Jewish traditions.

    Shaare Zedek Medical Centre is Jerusalem’s busiest hospital and with 700 beds is a similar size to the UK’s largest teaching hospital.
