Breathtakers OB Trust

Breathtakers support children with a rare and life limiting lung disease called Obliterative Bronchiolitis (OB). Currently there is no cure for OB and many children are oxygen dependent.

  • Mission statement

    Breathtakers OB Trust simply want to make life better for children with OB (Obliterative Bronchiolitis). We do this in a variety of ways from practical and emotional support, providing medical equipment, sending families on wish days and respite breaks. We also work hard to raise awareness with medical professionals to encourage early and correct diagnosis and support and promote research into this devastating irreversible disease.

    Breathtakers OB Trust aims to:

    • To support OB children and their families with emotional, practical and financial support.
    • To help OB children & teenagers fulfil their educational and employment potential with our transition project.
    • To raise funds to enable us to carry out our objectives.
    • To raise awareness with medical professionals to encourage early and correct diagnosis.
    • To support and promote research into this devastating irreversible disease.
