The Charity aims to support the Kingfisher School in providing additional facilities that aren't funded through the school's budget to provide increased opportunities for the pupils at the school

  • Mission statement

    The Kingfisher School Association's mission is to support the development of specialist facilities and learning opportunities at the Kingfisher Community Special School.
    The school is Oldham's school for primary aged children with severe and complex learning difficulties and all its pupils have a complex range of needs - including physical, medical, autism, communication, visual and hearing impairment and a range of other learning difficulties.
    The school relies on additional support to develop the specialist facilities to support learning at the school and the Association has been successful over a number of years in helping with this.
