    1. PEER makes world-class art visible and available to experience on the local high street.
    2. As a small-scale organisation, PEER provides a vital and necessary provision to artists at all stages of their career and of all generations.
    3. PEER demonstrates that art can play a role in the wellbeing of communities.
    4. PEER proactively engages with local people through participation activities with local communities and partners.
    5. PEER is working to implement capital improvements to provide better gallery spaces, reduce our carbon footprint and create a welcoming civic space for a wider public.

    Peer Uk Ltd aims to:

    • Deliver uncompromising, innovative, world-class art in the gallery and the public realm that is led by ideas and excellence rather than fashion and marketability.
    • Offer creative opportunities and experiences to local people of all ages and from a range of economic, social and cultural backgrounds through our participation programme.
    • Provide emerging, mid-career and established artists with opportunities to explore and to take new risks in their working practice.
    • Make a positive impact on the local environment and its communities through the provision of the highest quality art.
