The Junction 42 Foundation

Junction 42 exists to see the lives of offenders and their communities visibly transformed.

Founded 2012

  • Mission statement

Our aim is simple; to see the lives of offenders and their communities visibly transformed through support, empowerment and opportunity. We know that helping people into sustainable independence can require years of dedication, but we are in it for the long haul.

Founded in 2012 we work in prisons and communities across north east England and central Scotland supporting people throughout the journey of custody and rehabilitation.

Our support is lasting and is built around:

Creative Education & Engagement; using creative activity to build personal confidence, social capital and real community

Employability & Entrepreneurship; building up confidence and experience to develop work-ready skillsets and entrepreneurial mindsets

Faith; underpinning everything we do is our commitment to supporting the whole person; their mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing.
