  • Mission statement

The Factory Youth Zone provides young people in North Manchester with a safe and inspiring place to go which raises aspirations, encourages positive behaviour, develops healthy lifestyles and helps find meaningful employment.

In addition to our iconic building and high quality facilities, The Factory has a team of highly trained professional youth workers and volunteers dedicated to coaching, guiding and listening to young people.

The Factory is open 52 weeks a year and offers over 20 activities every session including sports, team games, music, performing arts, fashion textiles, arts & crafts, cooking and recreational activities.

All activites are fully inclusive so that young people with additional needs can take part and enjoy everything the Youth Zone has to offer. One-to-one mentoring is available for young people who need extra support and our Employability programme plays a key part in preparing our members for the world of work.

Young people can come to The Factory to try new things for just 50p a visit and £5 a year membership.
