Hopefield Animal Sanctuary in Essex has over 300 rescued animals, of a wide variety, under their care.

  • Mission statement

    Hopefield Animal Sanctuary provides a safe haven for unwanted, abandoned and abused animals. With a wide variety of animals from horses and donkeys to goats, pigs, cows, rabbits, snakes, cats and much more, Hopefield is a home for these animals, when they have nowhere else to go.
    Hopefield has a rehoming policy for cats, dogs, rabbits and small animals and snakes, although this is all done on a suitability, and case-by-case basis.
    Hopefield aims to educate the public about animal welfare, by being open every day to visitors, and doing educational tours to teach children how to care for animals.
