Royal Caledonian Education Trust supports the education of the offspring of current and former Scottish Armed Forces personnel in helping ensure that they fulfill their educational potential.

  • Mission statement

    Our mission is to help the sons and daughters of Scots who are serving, or who have served, in the Armed Forces to benefit as fully as possible from opportunities for education as circumstances will permit. We seek to help each person realise their potential both for themselves and for society through our working effectively with individuals, groups, partner organisations and other institutions in providing support to qualifying individuals.

  • Aims

    The Royal Caledonian Education Trust aims to:

    • We make around 300 grants annually to children of Scots Armed Forces personnel, past & present. Grants include school clothing, related activities and tertiary education living costs.
    • Work through our Education Programme in Scotland with schools, local authorities, Armed Forces charities and the military on initiatives to support Armed Forces children, their teachers & families
