Loss Uk

Supporting children, young people & families, who have experienced significant loss, to live not just exist.

Founded 2013

  • Mission statement

Working with children, young people & families- supporting them through issues of loss; in particular bereavement, family separation, divorce, self-esteem, young carers and bullying. We journey with the individual through mentoring, either one-to-one or group mentoring. We recognise that in order to maximise our impact we need to train those who work with children and young people around the issues of loss. We therefore offer a training programme around these issues.

  • Aims

    Loss Uk aims to:

    • To provide opportunities for children and young people to deal with their own loss.
    • To provide support for schools- offering mentoring, either one to one or group work. Or deliver lessons/assemblies about the issues of loss.
    • To provide training and capacity building for people that come into contact with children and young people regarding loss.
