Youth Work provision for young people aged 10-25 years in Alyth and the surrounding area. AYP operates 2 x Youth Clubs, Music Group, Media Group, Drop-In Centre, Job Club, Sports Club and more.

  • Mission statement

    AYP aims to provide quality positive diversionary activities including accreditation and volunteering opportunities to young people in Alyth and the surrounding area. All of the young people live in an isolated rural location that impacts on what provision they can access.

    Young people AYP engages with come from a variety of backgrounds including areas of deprivation. AYP addresses important issues affecting the participants including: Alcohol, Drugs, Health, self confidence and self esteem, employability, active citizenship and raising aspirations.

    AYP actively promotes and seeks out collaborative opportunities with partners from voluntary and statutory organisations in order to provide the most professional and outcome focused targets as indicated by the need of the participants. AYP adheres to the values of Community Learning and Development and such employs professional CLD staff to support the volunteers and participants to achieve their aims.
