  • Mission statement

Whitefield AODS performs 3 shows a year, usually 2 musicals and 1 play each for one week each. We
rehearse for most of the rest of the year and also are frequently asked to perform at fund-raisers for local
charities and churches. We actively recruit new members from the local area and always encourage
people to try new ideas and develop new skills our recent productions have involved 2 first time directors
and 8 first time lead performers. Our performances are watched by a wide range of people, we have
regular attendance from nursing homes and old people groups along with young peoples social groups, we
see this a great way for new people to have a chance at getting involved in theatre and performance, we
have seen three previous members go on to perform in the west end in lead and character parts. Our
society exists to help people grow and develop and form lifelong friendships.
