The Joshua Tree will provide a Holiday House and Support Centre in the Cheshire countryside for families and friends of children who have been effected by cancer or other immune-suppressing illness

    The Joshua Tree charity aims to build a holiday house and support centre for families of children who have been diagnosed with cancer or other immuno suppressig illnesses to allow for sharing, support and a short break free of charge away from the hospital routine.

    The house is to be built to high environmentally friendly standards with innovative energy efficiency and sustainability.

    The Joshua Tree Holiday House And Support Centre aims to:

    • To help families who have experienced looking after a child with a life threatening, immune-suppressing illness such as cancer to learn to live with and cope in their new situation
    • To help the poorly child catch up on any gaps in their education due to extended time off school as a consequence of treatment
