Dreamthinkspeak is a theatre company that mixes live performance with a variety of media in a range of settings to explore the major issues confronting our contemporary world.
Since 1999 dreamthinkspeak (DTS) has developed an international reputation for creating imaginative and engaging site-responsive work for audiences across the UK and beyond. The work of the company pushes the boundaries of theatre and is a major influence on theatre-makers, visual artists and arts programmers. DTS performances inhabit a range of locations, from landmark public buildings to long-abandoned sites in urban environments. Since it’s inception, DTS have created performances for 27 different sites around the world including a disused Co-Op supermarket in Brighton, Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral, a hotel in Kuala Lumpur and an office block in Holland. The company is committed to collaborating with the best emerging and established theatre makers and employs large numbers of locally based crafts people and artists to produce artistically ambitious and high quality pieces that draw in large audiences from a range of backgrounds (the work of the company achieves an average of 95% audiences).
DTS is led by founder Artistic Director, Tristan Sharps
