Breaking Free is a nationwide, registered charity. We are run by female survivors, who are qualified and trained therapists. Providing an opportunity for females over the age of 18 to recover & thrive

  • Mission statement

    To provide safe and confidential counselling group sessions for all
    female survivors of childhood sexual abuse, adult sexual assaults and rapes.
    To alleviate the isolation and traumas associated with
    sexual abuse, including physical and/or emotional trauma.
    To promote and advocate recovery from alcohol and drug
    misuse, recovery from criminal involvement and recovery from failed
    relationships and the associated negative behavioural patterns; all of which are highly prevalent in female survivors of sexual abuse and rape.
    To provide support, information and advice to females who have
    survived childhood sexual abuse, their partners and /or significant others.
    To advance the awareness in the community of the
    prevalence and long-term effects of childhood sexual abuse.
    To provide training opportunities for staff, volunteers,
    survivors, trustees and professionals in other agencies.

  • Aims

    Breaking Free Female Support Project aims to:
