Blackburn Youth Zone

We are a state of the art facility in the heart of Blackburn offering tailor made sports, arts and youth work programmes together with extensive personal support to the young people of the borough through employability, mentoring and young leaders programmes. We are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year for all young people aged 8-19. At just £3 annual membership and 50p per visit, we aim to ensure that our offer is accessible for all young people.

  • Mission statement

    Blackburn Youth Zone’s aim is create a more positive future for young people of the borough of Blackburn with Darwen, helping them to gain increased levels of confidence and self-esteem and raising their aspirations, which will lead to improved prospects and opportunities.
     We support young people to build positive relationships with supportive adults; provide opportunities for young people to play a
    positive role in their community; encourage a more active lifestyle and make positive lifestyle choices; aid social cohesion in a segregated
    community.
