St John International delivers first aid, healthcare and support services in more than 30 countries. Our programmes are community-based, volunteer-led and have high impact at a low cost.

From mobile clinics in Malawi to eye clinics in South Africa, ambulance services in Australia, hospice care in Antigua and first aid worldwide, we provide essential medical care every day. For generations, we have helped people around the world to help themselves and their neighbours in times of need.

  • Mission statement

St John's mission is to improve the health and well-being of people across the world.

Our vision is a world where lives are saved through awareness, knowledge and training, and where communities take action to create their own future.

  • Aims

    St John International aims to:

    • Increase demand and access of health care by pregnant women and new mothers with infants through its Mother & Baby Programme in Africa, to get them the right care at the right time.
    • Work with local people by training households to prepare themselves and protect their families through its Household Disaster Preparedness in the Caribbean.
    • Expand first aid training for its Associations, and building their own organisational resilience at the same time, through a Social Enterprise model for First Aid.
