Results UK

RESULTS works to empower people - both ordinary citizens and decision-makers - to take action to address the root causes of poverty. Working together, we aim to end global poverty within a generation.

Founded 1992

  • Mission statement

    1. 8 billion people around the world live in extreme poverty today, yet we know that the world has enough resources, structures and technology to end hunger and extreme poverty within a generation. Like you, we want these solutions prioritised so that people no longer have to endure living in extreme poverty.

RESULTS takes action to create the public and political will to end global poverty by conducting strategic advocacy and public campaigning at national, European and global levels. We develop and coordinate grassroots and high-level advocacy to achieve policy change (money spent more effectively) and resource mobilisation (more money spent) to tackle issues that either create or are a result of poverty, including inequitable access to education, healthcare and financial services.

By working to engage, educate and inspire members of the public (our grassroots, public campaigners) and key decision-makers to mobilise action, we are on the right path to end the suffering and indignity people live through when they become trapped in the cycle of poverty. However, we have not yet won the fight and there is still much more to be done. The world needs you to speak up and call for change.

Join us today and be part of the solution to global poverty.
