  • Mission statement

    RDA works across the spectrum of disability to enable people to gain therapeutic benefit, to achieve their goals and to have fun through equestrian activities. Working through 500 volunteer led centres across the UK, we support 30,000 people of all ages and allow them to achieve their dreams.

  • Aims

    Riding For The Disabled Association Incorporating Carriage Driving aims to:

    • People - To engage equally with and support more people in the work and activities of RDA. By doing this we aim to allow more people to beenfit from our activities
    • Capacity - To ensure that the structure of RDA and its Groups allows more people to take part in appropriate activity - particuarly by supporting and training Groups and volunteers
    • Capability - To ensure that every RDA Group and volunteer is supported and enabled to deliver a high-quality service; by doing this the people we support will gain most from the activity
    • Information & Communication - To increase awareness of our work and make sure that more people understand and promote the benefit that activities with horses can have for people with disabilities
