  • Mission statement

Our aim is to ensure that people with learning disability and autism spectrum conditions (ASC) are valued and included in society. We aim to value the individual and enable people to reach their potential. We advocate rights and services for our members and work with local authorities to make sure that they have their voices heard. We constantly work in a person-centred approach and we constantly look for new ideas and projects.
We believe that people with learning disabilities and ASC have the right to:
    - Have a choice in what they do and how they do it.
    - Be involved in decisions about their lives.
    - Learn and develop.
    - Have opportunities for employment.
    - Be involved in the community.
    - Have respect for themselves and for what they can do.
We also provide support and information for families, unpaid carers and siblings.
