Abbie's Army

Abbie’s Army are totally committed to raising funds for new treatments & promoting cure for paediatric brain tumours.

Founded 2012

  • Mission statement

Our mission is to RAISE awareness and contribute much needed funds for children's brain tumour research which is currently severely underfunded. 450 children are diagnosed in the UK every year with a brain tumour of some kind , notoriously difficult to treat, they have now overtaken leukaemia as the biggest cancer killer of children in the UK under the age of 15. However it is an area of research that is severely lacking receiving just 0. 7% of the UK National research spend for all patients, children are desperate for new treatments into this devestating condition.
It may be too late to help our darling girl but any donation that could save future families some of the pain that a brain tumour diagnosis brings, is extremely worthwhile. To do this in Abbie's memory is an honour and means the world to us.

FROM LOSS THERE IS HOPE AND INSPIRATION.
