Children4ChildrenNepal (formerly Freedom Matters)

Children4Children is the new name for Freedom Matters. We work in Nepal to ensure that children in this very poor country have a safe and sound childhood. In other words that their rights are protected.
Freedom Matters is currently rebuilding schools destroyed in the 2015 earthquake and helping traumatised children. We are providing skill training to some of the most vulnerable people in Nepal to provide them with a livelihood and the ability to keep their families safe.

Founded 2012

  • Mission statement

Children4ChildrenNepal works with local organisations in Nepal to provide improved education and training opportunities for underprivileged children, young people, families and communities thereby contributing to a safer environment which is free from child labour, abuse and trafficking.

We achieve this mission by working alongside a trustworthy implementing partner organisations (NGO), Right4Children (R4C), to implement projects that make a real difference to childrens' lives.

  • Aims

Children4ChildrenNepal (formerly Freedom Matters) aims to:

    • We will raise the funds and provide help and advice to ensure that 5 schools in Dhading District, destroyed by the 2015 earthquake, are rebuilt and improved at the same time.
    • We will provide funding to complete the building of a Vocational Training Centre in Pokhara. This centre will provide free places and jobs for vulnerable young people and the local community.
    • We will manage a project in a mountainous area of Nepal to build a hostel so that girls can stay at school overnight rather than walk for many hours to get home. Earthquake destroyed the last one
