that have lost everything. Rapidly protecting survivors from water-borne
disease by airlifting aid to the disaster zone.

Founded 2006

  • Mission statement

Disaster Aid – Water-purification & essential Survival items for families
that have lost everything. Rapidly protecting survivors from water-borne
disease by airlifting aid to the disaster zone and working with authorised
aid agencies on the ground to distribute to those most in need. £150,000
would pay for 1000 Water Survival Boxes and provide for 5000 people.

More than 7,000 boxes sent after 30 natural disasters to displaced
families in 21 countries worldwide in our first 6 years.

After the 2010 earthquake in Haiti 810 Water-Survival Boxes were sent for families left homeless and without access to clean water - then 400 boxes to Chile following an earthquake and tsunami there; 200 WSBs were sent to Guatemala following a
volcanic eruption and hurricane. Monsoon rains in Pakistan caused the Indus River to flood vast areas from the North West Province down to Sindh in the south - 20 million people were affected and 1340 WSBs were sent for distribution by Humanity First's team in Islamabad. In October; 200 WSBs in multi-packs were sent to help combat a cholera epidemic in Haiti. Every pound donated was used to pay for the box, water-purification kit, other essential survival items and air freight charges to expedite distribution. 1360 boxes were supplied in 2011 (Colombia, Japan, Pakistan, Kenya, Philippines) and 1600 more in 2012 (Philippines, Comoros, Chad, Mali, and Haiti) - Managed by Worldwaterworks Limited and the Rotary Club of Chelwood Bridge in Somerset
