Tricycle Theatre

The Tricycle is a vibrant theatre located in the heart of Brent, presenting high quality British and international work whilst engaging with young people through our creative learning programme.

Founded 1978

  • Mission statement

The Tricycle presents work in our theatre and cinema that reflects the diversity of the local community and brings unheard voices into the mainstream. We present six productions a year in our 235 seat theatre, which are either specially commissioned or co-produced. Young people are at the heart of the Tricycle's mission, with the Creative Learning Programme working to develop the imaginations, aspirations and potential of children and young people in the borough of Brent and beyond.

  • Aims

    Tricycle Theatre aims to:

    • To present high quality work which shows us different lenses to the world.
    • To inspire young people and create opportunities to help support future artists and audiences from all backgrounds, be it class, culture, sexuality or gender
    • To remove the obstacles that prevents theatre from being accessible to all
    • To be a hub where communities can mix and creativity can flourish
